Hue & Me.

Packaging Solution

Hue & Me is a vibrant paint brand built around the joy of making. Bold colour, thoughtful design and reusable packaging bring playfulness back to painting, reminding every hobbyist, beginner and creative that art is meant to be fun.

The Brief.

A Torrens University Form & Insight project using Design Thinking to reimagine hobby paint packaging from the ground up. Rooted in inclusivity and eco-conscious values, I developed a bold brand identity and functional packaging system that makes creativity approachable, joyful and worth displaying, for every artist, at every level.

A product that solves the mess, embraces creativity, and demands to be displayed.

The Product.

Through iterative research and testing, the packaging evolved into a system that balances functionality with playfulness. Themed sets and limited editions encourage collectability, while the final graphics and logo embody the brand's mission, creativity that's accessible, inspiring and mess-friendly.

Expanding.

To push the identity further, I expanded Hue & Me beyond packaging into a cohesive product ecosystem. Choosing paint-related touchpoints, an artist's apron, branded mug and everyday items, kept the brand authentic while demonstrating how a visual system can live consistently across multiple contexts.
